Can I ship my truck if it’s not running?
Most, if not all truck shipping companies will ship your truck if it’s not running. Usually they will charge a fee for this, as the truck must then wench it onto the truck instead of driving it (which takes time). Make sure that you let the truck shipping company know if your truck is DNR (does not run, not do not resiscitate) so they can make the necessary changes to your information as well as let the trucking company know. It is also important to let the truck shipping company know if it does not roll, brake, or steer. This is just to let them and the trucking company know if they need to make any special arraignments.

Truck Ship Broker Rate Truck ship broker rates are the prices that you pay for shipping your truck. These are determined by several different factors including the size of the truck, the pickup and destination locations, and the distance between the two. Shipping something like a Ford F-350 Super Duty will cost much more than something like a Toyota Corolla simply because it’s larger and more difficult to fit onto a truck – in special instances the rates can go up even more if the truck is severely oversized. Truck ship broker rates also depend on the pickup and destination cities – shipping from a larger city tends to be easier and cheaper because there are more trucks in that area. If the city you are shipping from or to is smaller, fewer trucks tend to run that way, which can raise the truck ship broker rate. Another major determining factor in truck ship broker rates is the distance between the pickup and destination cities. If the cities are closer together the rate will be cheaper because less fuel is expended getting from point to point. If they are farther apart, the truck ship broker rate will go up because the driver has more expenses during the trip.

Best Cars in a Crash
i’ve blogged a lot about the economy and its effect on the automobile industry, but what we haven’t really delved into is the cars themselves, and namely, which ones are the safest. a few names come to mind in terms of safety: volvo, bmw, mercedes benz, toyota – these are the major european and japanese auto makers, sure, and they make a great product. but some of the choices for the best cars to be in when you get hit (or hit something) might surprise you. read article...
Auto Mover Company
an auto mover company can refer to either a brokerage or an auto carrier. the main difference is that a brokerage actually sets up the move, but does not actually transport the vehicle; they find a carrier, a type of auto mover, to actually haul the vehicle for you. most carriers are owner-operators, which means that the driver owns his own truck and operates it himself. read article...

I can't spend the night in the museum. I don't have my toothbrush, I don't have my multi-vitamins, and oh yeah, I don't want my soul suffering eternal damnation for disrupting the sleep of an Egyptian canal digger.
